SFB Athletics Fundraising

St. Finn Barr Athletics is a self-sponsored entity. Family support is required, essential, and vital in helping raise funds to cover the expenses of the program. The purpose of our fundraisers is to help finance a solid athletics program for the school and parish. All proceeds are invested directly, along with the participation fee(s), in the purchase of equipment, uniforms, gym rentals, coach clinics, fingerprinting and team entry fees. 

In addition, volunteering at fundraisers enables participants to acquire parent service hours and bond as a community. The amount of hours eligible to be received will be stated on the event sign up. Your child does not have to play sports to donate and/or volunteer at the fundraisers.

A lack of fundraising will directly impact SFB Athletics participation fees and resource accessibility.

Fundraising
The SFB Athletics Program holds two mandatory fundraisers for all student-athletes, plus supplemental fundraisers, during the school year. 

The *mandatory fundraisers are:
  • Fall Season (August/September) - Gift Wrap
  • Winter/Spring Season - TBD
*Mandatory fundraisers require a minimum amount of sales or a Buy Out fee payment.

Supplemental fundraisers have included:
  • Ice Cream Social
  • Spaghetti Social / Clam Chowder
  • Fish Fry
  • Ice Cream/Root Beer Float Sale
  • Minimum Day School Lunch Sales
  • Holiday/Themed Craft Kits
